| The
mission of CAI is to maintain the highest possible ethical standards
for it's employees, customers and community. Through this philosophy,
our goal is to provide our customers with technologically superior
quality and services, while providing an environmentally friendly
workplace for it's employees. |
| We
believe in growth and expansion, provided it is not obtained at
the expense of our mission. Steady growth not only enriches the
lives of employees and ownership, it also increases our technical
expertise which allows us to bring the best electroplating services
to our customers. |
| Cal-Aurum
Industries was founded in 1971 by Paul Ginder, in the city of
Westminster, California. Mr. Ginder had worked as a Plating Engineer
for Hughes Aircraft Corporation and later for Burton Plating Company,
both in the Los Angeles area. In the early days, the company plated
many items ranging from bathroom fixtures to circuit boards, as
it worked to find its niche in the marketplace. |
| In
1982 the company relocated from Westminster to its present address
in Huntington Beach, California. The factory was specially designed
to accommodate both reel-to-reel (continuous), and loose piece
parts plating. During the 1980's and early 90's, the emphasis
of the business slowly shifted from consumer base products to
the precious metal plating of Electronic Products, which remains
it's focus today. |
CAI's
management now has Paul Ginder's son, Paul A. Ginder, leading
the company as President. We remain an SBA Small Business with
approximately 70 full-time employees. The majority of our customer
base is located in the Western States, and additionally serve many
companies across the country. |
